8. School Organisation

School Office

This is open from 8.40 am every day of the week and closes at 3.10 pm. It is the Office where all enquiries are directed. The office staff is responsible for receipting all monies which come into the school, the distribution of all notes and newsletters, enrolments, appointments, and general enquiries. Any items you may have missed out on, enquire from the office staff and they should be able to help you. Uniforms, P&C related funds are to be posted in the appropriate section of the box in the foyer.

Parents and Citizens Association

The P&C at Dudley is an active, enthusiastic and informed group of parents. It is the aim of the association to promote closer liaison between the school and parents. It has assisted greatly in the provision of funds for improved amenities and resources at the school.

The P&C is not just a fund-raising body. It assists in setting the school’s goals and priorities. It is a forum for discussion, information gathering and dissemination.

The P&C meets on the third Monday in every month at 7.30 pm in the school staff room. The time and date are advertised in the School Newsletter.

New Members are most welcome and all parents are encouraged to participate and support this important school body.

Staff/Parent Committees

From time to time decisions need to be made about policy relating to particular issues. The advice of both parents and staff is necessary to ensure a fair, balanced and amicable policy is devised.

Parent and staff volunteers work closely in committee to work out guidelines for policies to be presented to the community.
